Long distance charges do apply, but not any additional conference call charges. If you have a flat rate or a "bucket" of minutes to draw from, there is no extra charge.

Want to ensure your telephone number isn't known? Dial *67 first, then the number.

P.S., feel free to notify others they are welcome to call as well. As you probably know, I have been "banned" from the randi forum.

Tex, I'm not sure what your issue is, but when you post comments on blog's you should do a little resarch first. The comment that you posted on the Godwin Amway Orhphange and shcool blog is named after the man that founded it. His LAST NAME is Amway. He is not related to whatever your issue is. I blieve you owe our friend Jacob an apolgy. We have know this fine young man since he was a kid and he is not doing anything that is quesionable in any way. As a matter of fact, my husband and I just donated $1500 to the effort in the memory of our son David who was a good friend of Jacob's. If you are going make comments like that, you should be responsible enought to get the WHOLE STORY first! Shame on you.

Godwin had a very unusual and extremely unfortunate last name. I guess it could have been worse, such as Hitler or Madoff. Of course I apologize if Amway is a man's last name and he has nothing to do with the Amway tool scam, don't be silly.

Tex,
What do you do for a living? Why do you blog about Amway? How much PV did you have running through your Amway business when you quit?

TiredOfTheNonRelevantPosts

Tex, would you please stop messing up other people's forums and blogs with your off topic comments about Amway?

We all get it, Amway are a bunch of crooks and junk. The reality is that No One Cares About Amway in the first place!! They're just a bunch of old people's crooks anyway, and no one with any sense even bothers with them. Amway and all of that MLM madness went out of style way back in the 80's, when all the people who actually matter were still just little kids or weren't even born yet.

Plus, those of us who want to read about the latest Hollywood gossip or about Tiger Woods' scandals don't care about your problems with Amway and we don't want to keep reading your totally off-topic comments. Not only is it hugely annoying to see your off topic comments about Amway posted everywhere, it's totally insensitive of you to keep shoving that Amway crap down people's throats. Please just stop it and leave the articles and forums that aren't relevant to your problems with Amway ALONE.

Tex, you're like a little whiney boy. We IBO's are sorry you couldn't generate enough PV/BV or team members to create any income. However, me and 3 other of my friends have recently started up and are making well over $100 in our first few months :) I know, not too shabby right? That on top of my part time job I'm making well over $500 bucks a month. Planning on paying for college and graduate free of debt. So from me (an 18 year old) and my friends, grow up and stop wasting your time. BUT, on the other hand I would like to thank you for spreading the Amway hate. Your site, and the other 8th grade like sites and blogs, are keeping everyone from starting up their own Amway business and you are allowing me to have more customers, more volume, and more money. Hope your lovin' the new Amway commercials, I know I am! Thanks Tex, and have a great day!

Tex said...

Anon #1,

No. LOL

Anon #2,

Is that gross or net profit? LOL

Anon #1 & 2,

Do you realize your posts directly contradict each other, and neither of you understand the ATS? LOL

If you took half of the energy you have spent on this retarded blog and put it towards being an IBO you would be making over $100,000 a year. I'm sorry that every time you rebuttal someone's comment all you can say is "no lol." You type as if you are a 17 year old who is only mad because you're not old enough to run a site and sign up reps. At least make yourself sound educated so people will want to agree with how you feel about Amway. Yes IBO's who are diamonds make money from training tools but that is because they become part owners of Amway and have earned the right to profit from that. For the time being please take a step back and look at yourself and how sad your life is because you waste your time with this site and are sincerely jealous of those who retire after spending 3 years working for Amway.

hey Tex,

Found you blog via an inactive one.

I was in Amway before it became Quixtar and through the inital transition. Shortly after I left several diamonds in the Dexter organization broke off and founded their own groups.

The tool scam hit home for me when I realized I was the only person out of several downline in my area at a conference. I realized I had sacrificed my rent to pay for it $500. Just to get there.

I keep hearing books tapes functions and I realized one day, I voted for Bush becuase upline said too, and then they talked about how great he was when they weren't suppose to talk politics from stage. That was really what did it for me.

I knew instictivly that something was wrong when they showed me the numbers and said we have to show these but its really much better. The numbers never added up.

I wasted 4 yrs of money on this. I did however make some friends I never would've meet otherwise.

Not really anything else. Just wanted to say glad someone is doing this.

thanks,
Christian

Tex said...

Christian,

Thanks for visiting, your story is typical. If you want to be more involved in shutting down the Amway Tool Scam, let me know.

Anonymous said...

Yes. Very typical indeed Christian.
There were many things uplines did which they weren't supposed to. The reason I left was not the fraud; but it has been the reason I didn't go back. And after getting to know people like Tex, I decided to join the cause. I really believe the day will come when the tools scam will be shut down.

Tex said...

I've always disliked the MLM model, but something occured to me that I never considered before. Amway and the AMOs may have a pretty good argument that they are doing B-T-B rather than consumer sales, and may not be subject to various state and federal consumer protection regulations.

Thoughts?

Tex,

I just read your blog about Kristie Purcey and Sean McLafferty and I'm disgusted. I can't believe anyone would be sick enough to write that a murder victim is rotting in hell. Kristie was a beautiful girl that trusted the wrong man and paid for it dearly....with her life. She was violently murdered and I can't believe anyone would make light of a situation like that. All you seem to do is bitch that the people running Amway are crooks. I find it ironic that you continually judge them for their dishonest business practices, while writing such a horrible blog about someone you didn't even know. If you have even one decent bone in your body, you will remove your disgusting comments about Kristie. The monster that murdered her is rotting in hell and how dare you even put her in the same category as him.
